| The remote sensing information such as structures, clay alteration and iron-stained alteration relating to the gold mineralization were quantitatively extracted by using ETM & RAdARSAT-2 remote sensing data in the selected Handeni study area. In combination with geological and geochemical anomalies, the integrated prospecting prediction maps were drawn which overlay the structures, iron-stained alteration and geochemical anomalies. Based on the known gold deposits (occurrences), the metallogenic regulities are summarized and the preliminary evaluation of the prospecting potential in the Handeni area was conduted, four prospecting targets were outlined for the further exploration. |
