      新疆北部是我国蛇绿岩型铬铁矿的重要产区,发育有萨尔托海、鲸鱼、唐巴勒、萨雷诺海、洪古勒楞,以及清水等中、小型矿床多处。文章在对上述矿区及相邻蛇绿岩带调查过程中发现,许多地区地幔岩中发育有镁铁-超镁铁质“淡色微粒包块”(PMM)。对其详细的野外地质调查及显微研究表明,包块的主要岩性为镁铁-超镁铁岩,具体岩石类型有玻基(橄榄)玄武质岩类、辉长辉绿质岩类,以及辉石岩等超镁铁岩,并普遍发育以透辉石-钙铝榴石-绿泥石-蛇纹石化等为组合的异剥钙榴岩化蚀变。初步认为,PMM可能为早期洋壳的碎块被地幔高度部分熔融产生的超基性岩浆捕虏并发生反应所致。该发现与研究对于认识豆荚状铬铁矿的成因和地幔的岩浆作用过程,以及对于豆荚状铬铁矿的找矿预测均具有一定的指示意义。

      A mass of ophiolite-type chromite deposits is produced in North Xinjiang, which developing i.e. Sartohay, Jingyu, Tangbale, Saleinuohai, Hongguleleng and Qingshui middle/small size deposits. In this contribution, abundant “Pale Microgranular Masses” (PMM) in the pyrolite with mafic to ultra-mafic composition has been discovered in many deposits and the related ophiolite belt through our investigation. Based on the detailed field geological and microscopic studies, the lithological types of PMM can be divided into (olivine-) vitro-basalic rocks, gabbro-diabasic rocks and pyroxenite-like ultra-mafic rocks. The PMM are generally subjected of the diopside-grossularite-chlorite-serpentine, i.e., rodingite-like alteration. It is preliminarily considered that the earlier oceanic crust fragments were captured and reacted with ultra-mafic magma from highly partial melting of the mantle, which may account for the rodingite alteration in the PMM. This study has significant implications for understanding the processes of mantle magmatism, the genesis and prospecting of podiform chromite deposit.
