      海相火山岩型铁矿是中国一种重要的铁矿类型,近年来该类型铁矿找矿取得重大突破。鄂西北地区发育超基性、基性、中性、酸性、碱性等各种类型岩浆岩,前中生代地层遭受过低绿片岩相—角闪岩相的区域变质作用,具有良好的海相火山岩型铁矿成矿条件,并已相继发现了多处以“陈家垭”式为代表的海相火山岩型矿床。本文在系统收集整理、综合分析前人资料的基础上,结合野外调查及室内研究的成果,归纳总结鄂西北地区海相火山岩型铁矿的成矿规律,探讨找矿前景。研究指出,鄂西北地区海相火山岩型铁矿产于南华纪耀岭河组上段地层中,变细碧质火山岩夹变角斑质火山岩建造是寻找该类型铁矿的先决条件,变角斑质凝灰岩是主要的含矿岩石,航磁异常是本区寻找铁矿的重要标志。含铁岩系产出受火山喷发沉积控制,同时矿体富集又受火山喷发中心影响,空间上可出现多层磁铁矿(化)体。区内海相火山岩型铁矿的形成以元古生代沉积成矿作用为主,成矿物质主要来源于海底火山活动,后期的区域变质作用和岩浆热液作用对早期形成的磁铁矿体局部进行了叠加改造。本文指出郧西县黄龙山—丹江口市银洞山和郧阳区青岩沟—竹山县金花—竹山县田家坝一带是找寻该类铁矿的有利地段,共圈定了11处远景区和5个具体的找矿靶区,为今后区域上同类型矿床的勘查工作提供一定的指导。
英文摘要:
      Marine volcanogenic-type iron deposit” is one of the most important iron deposits in China. Recently, great breakthroughs have been made in the prospecting of this type of iron deposit. The northwest Hubei Province has various types of igneous rocks including ultramafic, mafic, intermediate, acidic, and alkaline types. In addition, the Pre-Mesozoic strata occurred in the Qinling orogenic belt had suffered regional metamorphism of low greenschist-amphibolite facies, providing favorable metallogenic conditions for the formation of marine volcanic rock type iron deposit. Indeed, many marine volcanic rock type deposits, as represented by the “Chenjiaya” type, have been found in this area. Based on the systematic collation and comprehensive analysis of previously published information and combined with the outcomes obtained from the field investigation and indoor scientific research at this time, in this study we conclude the metallogenic regularity and discussed the prospecting perspective of marine volcanic rock type iron deposits distributed in the northwest Hubei Province. This research indicates that the marine volcanic rock type iron deposits in northwest Hubei were formed in the upper section of the Yaolinghe formation, Nanhua period. The formation of metaspilite volcanic rocks intercalated with metakeratophyre volcanic rocks is believed to be the prerequisite for the discovery of this type of iron deposit. The metakeratophyre tuff is the major ore-bearing rock, whereas the aeromagnetic anomaly is a significant indicator of ore prospect in this area. The formation of iron orebodies is exactly governed by the volcano-sedimentary cycle. These orebodies can exhibit a multilayer characteristic of magnetite mineralization. The formation of marine volcanic rock type iron ore deposits was controlled by Proterozoic sedimentary mineralization, and the ore-forming materials mainly came from submarine volcanic activities. The regional metamorphism and magmatic hydrothermal process in the later stage have locally superimposed and reformed the early formed magnetite ore bodies. This research points out that the Huanglongshan (Yunxi county)-Yindongshan (Danjiangkou city), and Qingyangou (Yunyang district)-Jinhua-Tianjiaba (Zhushan county), are beneficial areas to discover such type of iron deposit. Besides, 11 prospective areas and 5 specific prospecting targets have been delineated.
