      Songshan is the typical Neo-Archean granitic rocks outcrop area in China. The Tieligou gneissic trondhjemite is mainly distributed in Tieligou, with medium-grained granitic texture, gneissic and banded struc-tures. The Tieligou gneissic trondhjemite has high concentrations of Na2O (1.46%-5.03%) and SiO2 (average 75.47%), and poor in Fe and Mg, with high ratio of Na2O/K2O and the content of Al2O3 of 12.32%-14.95%, showingthe feature of TTG gneiss with peraluminous. It has the similar geochemical characteristics with the high Si Ceno-zoic adakite, for example, the LREE and HREE are strongly differentiation, with weak negative Eu anomalies, high‐content of Sr, high ratio of Sr/Y, and low contents of Cr, Yb and Y; It is also similar with island arc volcanics on therelational features among Nb, Y, Rb, Th, La and Yb in the rocks. It has been determined that the Tieligao granitebody in the Songshan area is an ancient intrusive rock with TTG characteristics, which was formed by partial melt-ing of aqueous basaltic oceanic crust under the high pressure environment during subduction process. This providesa basis for elucidating the formation, properties, and evolution of the crystalline basement in the southern margin ofthe North China Craton.
