      This paper takes the Galonggema copper polymetallic deposit in Qinghai Province as the researchobject, aiming to analyze its geological background, mineralization characteristics and prospecting prospects, andprovide a theoretical basis for regional mineral exploration. Through field geological investigation and comprehen-sive means of geochemistry and geophysics, the ore-controlling factors and deposit genesis of the main ore bodiesNo. IV and IVI were mainly studied. The results show that: The deposit is located in the volcanic rocks of the LateTriassic Badang Group and is controlled by the northwestward fault and volcanic structure. 24 ore bodies have been delineated, among which ore body No. IV is the largest in scale, with a length of 50-2000 m and a thickness of 2-43m. The average grades are 0.31%-2.34% for Cu, 0.52%-2.08% for Pb, and 1.21%-2.13% for Zn. Mineralization isdivided into two stages. In the early stage, pyrite was formed by Marine volcanic jet deposition. In the later stage, thesuperposition and transformation of moderately acidic magmatic hydrothermal fluids formed copper-lead-zinc orebodies. Sulfur isotopes (δ34S is 1.13‰-12.37‰) and fluid inclusions (uniform temperature 178-373 ℃) The salinity(0.66%~11.22%) indicates that the ore-forming materials originate from the mixture of magmatic hydrothermal fluidand groundwater. The genesis of the deposit belongs to the type of volcanic jet deposition -hydrothermal superposi-tion. There is still considerable potential for mineral exploration in the mining area and its periphery. The researchresults can provide important references for the exploration of similar deposits in the Sanjiang mineralization Belt.
