| The prospecting theory and method for exploration area is a systematic, complete and complex theo.retical method system, and it is difficult to completely understand and grasp the key points in a short term duringpractical application. In this paper, several key issues of the prospecting prediction are interpreted and discussed.The direct metallogenic geological bodies are defined for the main deposit types, the corresponding types of diage.netic structure, metallogenic structure and metallogenic structural plane are sorted out, and zoning of the metallo. genic characteristics are summarized in this paper. Considering the target and direction of prospecting prediction forexploration area, this paper puts forward a three-step research idea of "what to prospect, where to prospect, andprospect again after done" for the large-scale prospecting prediction, and expounds it with the example of the Ka.latag concentration area in Xinjiang. It is pointed out that integrated study and comprehensive mapping are two ba.sic working contents and methods of prospecting prediction for exploration area, in which comprehensive mappingincludes four categories: integrated mapping of collected map, thematic geological mapping and compilation, mapcompilation for prospecting analysis, and map compilation for prospecting results. According to the degree andrange of exploration work, the research contents and working methods of different types of exploration areas are dif.ferent. For the exploration area in the general prospecting -general exploration -exploration stages, the generalcontents, methods and procedures of prospecting work for the exploration area can be basically followed; For theprospecting prediction of ore concentration areas, both research contents of the trinity (metallogenic geological body,metallogenic structural plane, and metallogenic characteristics) and metallogenic system should be equal emphasisand the secondary development of geological data should be the key working content. |
