      石英砂矿床是中国硅质原料矿产的重要来源之一,有着特殊的成因和工业意义。本文通过对遂溪县西部地区石英砂矿地质特征研究,分析遂溪县西部地区石英砂矿矿石质量特征及成矿地质条件,对该地区石英砂矿成因及找矿前景进行探究,为后期遂溪县地区及外围石英砂矿找矿地质勘查工作提供参考。研究表明:(1)遂溪县西部地区石英砂矿床属陆源河控三角洲平原亚相分流河道微相-后三角洲亚相冲积微相沉积矿床;(2)石英砂矿体受地层控制,出露厚度大、沉积稳定,矿石质量好,经过淘洗后化学变化稳定,满足玻璃用石英砂矿工业指标,具有很大的开采工业价值;(3)本区及外围石英砂矿床仍有较大的石英砂矿找矿前景,预测资源量大,具有进一步地质勘查找矿意义。

      Quartz sand deposit is one of the important sources of silica raw material mineral in China,which has special origin and industrial significance. This paper through the study on the geological characteristics of quartz sand in the western area of Suixi County,analyzes the ore quality characteristics and metallogenic geologicalconditions of quartz sand in the western area of Suixi County,and explores the origin and prospecting markers of quartz sand in this area,so as to provide reference for the geological prospecting of quartz sand in Suixi County andits periphery in the later period(1)The quartz sand deposit in the western area of Suixi County belongs to the sub-delta alluvial deposit in the controlled delta plain.(2)Quartz sand ore body is controlled by stratum,with large exposure thickness,stable deposition and good ore quality. After panning,the chemical change is stable,which meets the industrial index of quartz sand ore for glass and has great mining industrial value.(3)There is still a large prospect of quartz sand ore prospecting in this area and the periphery,and the predicted resources are large, which has the significance of further geological exploration and prospecting.
