| Based on their geological features, the H, O, S and Pb isotopes of ore samples from the Haoping andMeizigou gold deposits in northern Qingling Orgenic Belt were analyzed in order to discuss the source of ore metals,the controlling factor of deep ore fluids discharge, consider the Au mineralization potential and the exploration tar-gets. The δ18OV-SMOW values of the quartz samples from the Meizigou Au deposit were 14.3‰ and 13.5‰,and the δDV-SMOW values were -41.8‰ and -61.5‰ and the δ18OH2O values were 5.81‰ and 3.00‰, respectively. The δ34S values of the galena samples from the Haoping and Meizigou Au deposits were -0.6‰-2.0‰ and 0.6‰-1.3‰, re-spectively. The samples ratios of 206Pb/204Pb, 207Pb/204Pb and 208Pb/204Pb from the Haoping Au deposits were 18.12-18.29, 15.46-15.67 and 37.95-38.60 with the values of Δβand Δγof 8.70-23.66 and 21.01-45.32, respectively. The sample ratios of 206Pb/204Pb, 207Pb/204Pb and 208Pb/204Pb from the Meizigou Au deposit were 18.14-18.27, 15.46-15.61 and 37.19-38.35, and their Δβand Δγvalues were 9.00-19.14 and 27.36-36.95. The H and O isotopic datahave suggested that ore-forming fluids of the Haoping and Meizigou Au deposits were mainly derived from the mag-matic water and metamorphic water, respectively. The δ34SV-CTD values have shown a tower shape, which has indi-cated a mantle source. The Pb isotopic sample points were close to orogenic line, and fall into subduction zone leadmixed with upper crust and mantle source and orogenic belt lead source. These H, O, S and Pb isotopic features ofthe Haoping and Meizigou Au deposits have suggested that metallogenic materials were derived from lower crustand upper mantle, and the upper crust material has been added in the deposit formation process. The formation ofthe Haoping and Meizigou Au deposits was closely related to the Yanshanian intracontinental (intraplate) orogenesisof the northern Qinling Orogenic Belt, and they were the products of lithosphere delamination at ~130 Ma in EarlyCretaceous. It suggested that there were endogenetic Au metallogenic potential in the northern Qinling OrogenicBelt. The exploration targets and new methods were discussed. |
